Jon Avidor, Esq.
Jon Avidor is an experienced investor, attorney and executive. Avidor began his career at the prestigious Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York, where he represented top financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Barclays, and Fortune 500 companies such at AT&T and Diageo. Later, Avidor moved his law practice to Goodwin LLP in Silicon Valley to represent venture capital leaders such as Khosla Ventures and Sequoia Capital, and entrepreneurs selling their startups to tech titans such as Intel, LinkedIn and Paypal.
In 2016, Avidor transitioned to entrepreneurship by forming World Trade Ventures to deploy venture capital into technology company investments, and Avidor Law to support private company transactions on the legal side.
In 2019, Avidor engineered and facilitated the largest and most successful cannabis company roll-up in California, founding Shryne Group Inc., the parent company of STIIIZY, and building a $500M+/year conglomerate with 2000+ employees and 40+ retail locations. During his 4-year tenure with STIIIZY, Avidor served as Chairman & CEO, and led the company through $200M+ of capital financing and $100M+ of M&A transactions in the face of difficult industry headwinds and complex internal politics. In 2023, Avidor exited STIIIZY and launched Avidor Capital Partners.
Avidor earned a JD-MBA cum laude from Northwestern University and a BA from UC Davis, and enjoys snowboarding, tennis, hockey and aviation in his free time.
